Hello everyone! I'm here and I'm trying to be more regular with the blogging and I'll start with this - my first blog of 2024!
One of the things that I find so tough in these blogs is having something interesting to say. Well, at least something that I think people will find interesting. Like with people I'm sure, everyone else finds me to be more interesting than I find myself.
So, let me see what I can think of...
My oldest daughter just turned 13! Happy Birthday, Gracie! Prior to her birthday, I got a message from her best friend's aunt and she asked if Grace could spend the night. After clearing things with her mom, Grace was allowed to go and had a great time!
Once Grace came home, we made her favorite dinner, Sausage and Potatoes, had a little cake and ice cream, exchanged a few more gifts she didn't get during Christmas, and called it a day, as school would resume the following day. All in all, a good day.
For me, it's just mind-bogging that I have a 13-year-old daughter (though to be honest, I'm equally as shocked when any of the kids have a birthday) They're all such great kids. They all have challenges, but what kid doesn't? I was the young adult who didn't want kids and now, I couldn't imagine life without them.
Outside of that, there isn't really a whole lot to report. It's a new year and there are SO many new projects that aren't ready for discussion yet, but there will hopefully be a lot to report in the coming months.
I don't wanna fill this with fluff so I'll end it here and just say thank you for loving me and supporting me all this time. Means the world to me.
